i really like doing these kinds of posts because it makes everything a little bit more personal, you get to see into a girls' wardrobe, how personal can you get? possibly my favourite posts to post!


- dress from Floozie sale section in Debenhams. this dress was bought in the Newcastle Debenhams in Eldon Square. it used to be £28, now it's reduced to half price. bargin!

it has these cute buttons in the centre of the bust section. it gives it a nautical effect, which i love!

hair of the month (or rather several months)

i woke up this morning, itching to dye my hair. i wanted a really nice deep plummy red, cheryl cole has it, except i don't think it suits her complexion, the moussy brown was so much better. okay, carrying on, yesterday, i bought the Schwarzkopf Live Colour XXL in R43 Red Passion.

i really liked the colour the model had, i thought it was rather lovely. with very high hopes, i mixed the developing solution with the colourant and it turned with orange peach shade. being as hopeful as i could be, i applied the dye to my hair. there was no immediate reaction, but as hair dyes do, it gradually changed colour to a bright reddish orange. i thought to myself - holy crap. reluctant as i was, i slathered it on, it was very gloopy and messy, my bathroom is now a scene for a massacre. i left it on for about 45 minutes and the outcome was quite successful.

my hair is now a lovely plum shade with glimpses of red in brighter lights.
